These 360°
mirrored Full Domes are usually mounted on, or hung from, an indoor ceiling.
They provide an ideal panoramic view of 4-way intersections or large-areas. |

ACRYLIC Dome, LENS only
- no
backing
For indoor use only,
these Domes need no backing (unless someone is going to use it for a
Basketball Hoop). Domes without backing
mount flush to their mounting surfaces for a clean appearance.
They come with holes drilled in their mounting flange for
screwing to any surface. They can also be hung from high ceilings using the
light-weight chains (supplied with larger Domes) or ¼" nylon cord (available at any hardware store). |

ACRYLIC Dome
- Hardboard Backed
|
Hardboard backing is usually used to prevent bird-nesting
or people using them for Basketball "Hoops" with their garbage. Because they are hollow, they are designed for indoor use
(rain and snow can still collect inside them). They can be used outdoors, but only
under an overhang or other protective covering in mild weather conditions,
even with hardboard backing covering the entire opening. |

Domes with steel backing are usually used in wet areas
such as Food-processing plants or Car-washes. Because they are hollow, they are designed
only for indoor use
(rain and snow can collect inside them). They can be used outdoors, but only
under an overhang or other protective covering in moderate weather
conditions, even with its 20-gauge galvanized steel backing covering the entire
opening. |
